Just an update for you guys!!
I decided after Honda showed no interest in my problem to replace the pads myself, a 20 min job & back on the road.... Well my car has just come back from it's service, just around 2 mth after i replaced the pads (drivers side only) & guess what, according to my service report both sets of rear pads are 40% worn?? WTF, if the service engineer is correct then my brand new set have now caught up with the set that have originally been on the car since new, but yet they said there was no fault on the brake caliper???, either the service engineer didn't check properly both sides & assumed both were worn equally (assuming he only looked at the passenger side only) or there is a severe fault with the driver side caliper, either way bloody awful!! The other thing i noticed was when i came to clean the car the other week (first time in a while i've hand cleaned in) the drivers side rear wheel was caked in brake dust & has pretty much knackered that alloy as i can't clean it up!!!! |
