Do they install and fit for 50 quid normally, or is it relatively simple?
It is pretty simple:

Replace the fascia with the Type R glare and scratch free one

Off on a slight tangent I know but we picked up my wife's new Type-S GT yesterday.

Car was fine except for scratches on the dash - dealer couldn't have been more helpful and changed it out while we waited. Then he changed it again after we noticed scratches on the replacement as well.

These were all brand new dashes from the factory, our original dash may perhaps have been damaged by valeting but the other scratched dash came from a car that hadn't even been prepared yet.

Anyone else had problems straight from the factory?

Finally, the new car checklist was a gem - I may have missed the scratches on the dahs until we'd have gotten home then we may have had problems.

Cheers

Paul

Yep.

Dealer ordered me new dash parts and showed them to me out of the box prior to fitting.

The clear perspex sections were perfect. The black shiny dash part still had noticble minor scratches on it - I didn't care too much though as the valeter had completely scratched the ass of the original section!

Hi,

I've been quoted 83 pounds inc VAT & Fitting today, Barretts Honda, (and the old dash back). Not too bad I thought and am seriously tempted, as I hate the dash at the mo' it marks so easily.
