made a very! weighted gear knob.

i bought a type r gear knob and used it as a template.i then scaled it up and got it made out of s/steel at work.wkhat do you all think.

i think its a bit heavy but i will try it in the car to see what it feels like.

900g shift knob?

Are you psycho?

Why would you need that much weight?

A smart idea would be to make the top part removable and hollow so you can add your own weights, just like gaming mice these days which can have weights added.

You would be the only one with a gear knob like that.

Nice idea, nice implementation but too heavy I think. I wonder how much the skunk2 weights which is also heavy.

Won't that much weight damage the cams in the shift unit? My mate mentioned awhile back very vaguely that all shifters have a weight tolerance or something. Could be completely wrong though
