Race tracks in Midlands

Hi, recently me and my mates have been looking for some race tracks near Birmingham area. I googled and found only two around, Dinnington Park and Silverstone. But they are too expensive, over 100quid for a day. Does anyone know any other tracks in Midlands, or near, where we can race our cars

Try Mallory Park, I believe testing day is on a Weds, don't know about track days though, find them here:

When I checked Mallory Park, I've come across this website: bookatrack.com - all tracks are listed there. However, I was expecting it to cost around £30-50, as Santa Pod is, not £150!! Thanks anyway.

Don't forget they have to cover costs like opening the circuit, admin, insurance etc, etc, etc. I know from experience ( I used to be heavily involved in motor sport) that circuits and insurance companies are becoming more and more paranoid about letting the public onto the tracks. I know everybody signs waivers saying they don't hold the circuit responsible for damage/injury but there are people who do get hurt and do try and take them to court. A few cases have come dangerously close to being won, which believe me would ruin ALL forms of motor sport in Britain if not world wide.
If you really want to put your car on the track then the easiest way is to go on hot hatch days , I know Knockhill in Scotland does them so other circuits probably do as well. With these you pay your money usually over £100 and you can go on track with other like minded individual with no experience of a race track. Or you can pay lots of money and hire the circuit just for yourself. Or you can get a racing licence and try racing for yourself.
Just remember NO insurance company is going to pay out for damage to your car, yourself or any third party.
That said when you do find somewhere enjoy it.

you are not going to find any track day for £30-50.
definatly not a track like Donnington or Silverstone, best thing to do is wait until the summer and you can do evening track days I think you get about 3-4 hours on track for around £60-70
