Honda Website - Out of Date?

Hi All,

So I have jsut been on the honda website Honda (UK) I clicked on cars and then on Honda owner.

I though that I would check to see what accessories are available so I clicked on the relevant section and the new type civic is not listed on there.

I then thought that I would run my car through the recall and updates section as I was curious to see if anything would come up and when I tried to enter the details I came to date of purchase and the most recent year listed on the dropdown menu is 2005.

Now I cant believe that the website is 2 years behind the times. Especially when I have read a post somewhere which says that someone has been checking on recalls for their car online, has anybody else had this trouble? am I being stoopid? or what?

any ideas?

Look at the new cars bit - they are still offering the Civic in discontinued Vivid Blue and Champagne Silver but no Tangerine Orange!

Brodick is right to draw upper-case attention to the Honda UK Site's shameful tardiness.

But that's not all that's wrong with it.

The site is dull, clunking, unimaginative and totally lacking in any semblence of presence, style, excitement or elegance.

Yet this is a company who have publicly stated their intention to add youthfulness, style and excitement to their vaunted engineering values. And who have produced one of the world's most excitingly styled cars in the Civic (regardless of its other occasional shortcomings).

When Honda should be aimimg for a site every bit as stylish as, say, Mercedes Benz, Lexus or BMW, they provide exactly the kind of site you would have expected from British Leyland. Worthy but dull.

Looking at Honda's brilliant, innovative advertising, could you imagine it's the same company?

It's nothing to do with the retail price of the cars. In fact, the lower down the scale you are, the classier I think the site should be.

Sad.
