That's a huge problem off your hands, Topcat. I doubt if there's been another Honda model over the last twenty years where your kind of experience could have gone on for so long and been so resistant to resolution.
You were so right to buy the Civic on the strength of Honda's formerly well-deserved reputation...perhaps the best in the industry. I'd have made the same choice myself, if a neighbour hadn't bought one first and shattered my faith in the model by experiencing all the faults we know so well...and used only to expect of other makes. Good luck with your new steed. It can't possibly be worse and Honda should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. |

She would come back anyway, just for the Chatbox and all that chat of her own lol!
But TC must stay only so me and her can gang up on DR when everyone else has gone away at night |

Good luck TC!
I too will be getting rid of the Civc in the near future, as soon as I work out what to replace it with! This is honestly the worst car I have owned in terms of build quality and faults (And I've owned lots of new cars/new models). The first six months or so were fine, then the honeymoon period soon wore off. The faults and rattles came thick and fast! |

Best of luck TC, hope the new car behaves itself.
And do stay, this place would not be the same without you. As for other people perhaps criticizing the make/model of your new car, cars are a very personal choice and I for one would not (criticise that is). After all, we all have our favourites. |
