moving on

After owning the CTR for 4 months I traded her in for an new shape Audi TT I loved the CTR but one thing that keeps on niggling me was the comfort of the front seats its the only car I have driven which in 20 minutes of driving my lower back kills me of pain I just could not put up with it and finally this weekend I thought enough was enough went down to the Audi garage and traded her in…..apart from the comfort I loved the ctr and would highly recommend it to anyone.

to tell you the truth - the seats are well comfy, I can fault them. I can fault the rear suspension, but the seats are nice. And I do like around 100 miles a day.

i cant fault the comfort either, its fine. the ride is firm and to be expected, it was unbearable in my clio trophy (auto car and evos best hot hatch ever). The only problem is the rear suspension, it makes it slightly more prone to understeer, but really i think its the factory geometry settings are the main problem. get to ABP an you will se what i mean. enjoy your cars ignore the plebs following clarksbum (clarkson). they proberbly just jelous.

Thats a real shame especially as you really liked the car.

I find the seats very comfortable. However i could not drive my husbands previous car for more than about half an hour before it gave me unbearable backache. He recently replaced it with the estate version of the same make and model and i don't have any problem whatsoever

I also once drove a Peugeot 205 gti and found it unbearable. Different cars suit different people i guess. Shows how important it is to have a decent test drive - not just 20 mins.

its a real shame I had to sell the car bcoz the car seat comfort....allot of people find it very comfortable but for me it was unbearable after 20 minutes of driving...only when I drive the ctr my back was in pain when I drive my girlfriends polo didn't get no back pains at all....hope one day I'll own another great Honda car like the ctr..
