Civic has been sold

Just to let you all know that I have just part exchanged my Civic. Depending on finance being agreed it will be going next week.

I have loved the civic. Its a real pleasure to drive and own but for me it wasnt to be. I have always loved to have big auto cars but thought I could live with the Civic. But in the end i got sick of manual gears and Honda offered no real alternative as Im unsure of the Ishift. I was going to wait for the new Accord but its going to be to costly for me at new price, for the spec I would like.

I dont wish to say what im hoping will be my next car until everything is finalised.

Also this has been a great forum which has helped alot and long may it continue. I will still be monitoring this site out of pure interest.

Let us know what you got in the end.

Well at least you tried. For me the size is perfect, for others not. Hope your next car is better suited to your needs.

yeah dont get me wrong I love the Civic and always will do. But ive managed to get hold of a car i really wanted and have always done for the same monthly payments as what I was paying for civic. It was more down to not having auto than the size

Best of luck with the new car - obviously an AUTO? Hope it brings you as much pleasure as the civic.

In what's being touted as a first-in-class application of the technology, Volkswagen now offers a 6-speed automatic transmission in its Polo small car. Mated to the company's 1.6L 4-cylinder, VW states that the 6-speed Tiptronic's gearing is configured to maximize refinement and that the driving experience feels closer to that of one of their mid-level vehicles.

The only other one that I recollect having a 6 speed auto is the VW Touran or maybe the Citreon C5 ?

He didn't deny it

And looking at the fleet list, there are some 2004 diesel automatic vehicles.

Type S Bournemouth, is the garage big enough for an East Lancs Volvo

Charlie secretly thought that also!

Never mind, enjoy your new motor.

There are plenty of great motors out there today.

......and most of them are available in RED!

Aren't the VW group DSG's 6 speed auto's, in which case it could be a golf, passat, A3 or A4...?
