Talking Bye Bye, got a Qashqai 2.0 CVT Tekna SatNav in Fired Iron

Different technology I know, but.........its so comfortable, gearbox is smoooooooooth, engine, wind and tyres are quiet, seats are superb and all the electrics work, properly. Had the SatNav system installed; MP3 on 6 discs, brilliant!! Voice command works instantly as does the handsfree phone. Ride is good, it goes around corners really well! Driven 7000 miles in last 6 weeks and have averaged 34mpg tank to tank (without driving like a nun!!!)
I had a CRV 2.2 before and lusted a Civic iShift........tried a Qashqai.......

I will keep looking in on the best forum on the web thingy........

I have to say the quashqai is a car I really like and was a real contender when choosing the civic. Hope you enjoy it! Let us know how you get on!

A kind of crossover SUV made by Nissan. Gets great reviews over here, and my wife hankers after one:

It's mighty plain looking. The Civic owns that thing all over. Different strokes, for different folks though. Hope you enjoy it

It's just another boring SUV in my opinion. But, to each his own.

Yea it is a SUV, but there is something about it in my opinion that I really like. The interior is not bad either - one of the few reasons I didn't get one was because it was actually more expensive for me to get the same spec gashqai as the civic I bought. Plus it's actually bigger than I need at present!

Qashqai is not an suv it is a family hatchback (just slightly higher ride - compared to the rest of the family hatches)
the X-trail is Nissan's suv

oh and it is pronounced cash-kai

The monthly contract hire figure was actually lower than for the civic ex that I was toying with..........and depreciation is the hire company problem....best of both worlds I reckon.

thanks
