Goodbye Everyone

Due to a promotion I now get a company car, obviously I pay BIK tax for both the car and fuel card so there was no point keeping the Civic.

Problem is it's a 407 SW hire car until I choose either an A4 Or 3/1 series BMW. Rather drive he Civ anyday.

I sold Brie today to a young French couple, Brie to a French couple you couldn't write it, from Bradford. They are collecting on Thursday next week. It was in the Auto trader for two weeks and they were the only people to view it. It's a really odd feeling as I know that I needed to sell her but yet I'm very sad that she's going.

Anyway you have been a very friendly and helpful bunch of people, only a couple of exceptions, so to you all I would like to say thanks for your help and sharing your knowledge.

Best wishes and safe driving to everyone one of you and I hope you continue to enjoy your fantastic Honda spaceships safe in the knowledge that you've got the best hatch currently on sale.

Most likely is the 118d Msport albeit it's a 26k car it will only cost me £66 per month including fuel card tax.

It doesn't look as good as a Type S though and the rear doors are tiny. Good job it'll be mainly my five year old daughter in the back.

Thanks everyone.

I am sad to say goodbye.

I'll post in the new year and let you know how the new car fairs up against a Civic. Tough act to follow and we all know nothing can touch it for styling and flair.

A little parting " Taps " ...

" All is well, safely rest, Civic is nigh " !!! ...

p.s. - why such a restrictive choice of car ? - when I had (many different) company cars, there were only 3 rules: 1} a max. 'on-the road' list price; 2} a max. monthly lease rate; 3} no 3-door cars ...

Congratulations on your promotion!

Tax seems a bit low though for a £26K car, even though the emissions are very low on the new BMW's thanks to their efficient dynamics etc but still £66 is about the same BIK on a Civic...

This is part of the XL file that I have pasted. It's a band 2 listing that I can choose from.

It didn't work amd turned to a mess. How do you post an XL file ?
