I haven't posted in here for a while, due to illness (Septicaemia resulting in amputation of left leg above the knee) and from today, I'm now Civic(less).
I was sad to see it go as it's been a great car. However, it'll be a year before I can use a manual gearbox again - so I'm told. I was tempted by a 3dr with iDrive but Motability only offer a petrol version (is there a Diesel available?)and to be honest, I'd prefer a conventional auto box, so I've ordered a BMW 120i M Sport, with 6 speed auto box, 18" rims and Luxury, Visibility and Comfort packs. I hope it's as good as the Civic! The Accord Tourer stays but it means I'll be saying goodbye. Thanks for all the help and advice, and good luck to all! Cheers |

Tough news that.
Losing a leg and a Civic. Life don't get much worse than this. Keep your spirits up. Keep popping into civinfo and keep us up to date on how your doing. The i-Shift is not available with the 2.2d. In tests it couldn't take the power. Best of luck with the BMW, you'll need it! "Married life is like being banged up in prison, but with fewer screws!" Charles H. |
