Hello everybody! Yesterday I picked up my brand new Galaxy Grey 1.8 Sport EX. My first impression is that the car is fantastic especially for the transmition and the gear handling which (if i may say) felt to me like i was handlind a computer joystick! For the moment i have to study a lot the manual to get familiar with all the systems of the car. Indeed a spaceship on the road! About the required service intervals from the local dealer that my greek friends talked about , i also agree that to force you change the oils every 6 months or 10.000 km is too much. For me or for everyone else that will never do 10.000 km in 6 months is an extra cost for the car. It's the cost we pay for the 7 years of garanty which is an advantage. I wanted to ask the friends who have the car for a long time now , if there is something i have to pay attention to the manner that i will drive the car for the first 2000 km... Any Information will be valuable for me. Thaks In advance.

Ο Pottsy μου πρότεινε να δημιουργηθεί πιλοτικά σε κάποιο σημείο το δικό μας φόρουμ όπου θα μιλάμε ελληνικά και να κάνω το moderating εγώ. Αν τελικά υλοποιηθεί αυτό και ξεπεραστούν το όποια προβλήματα τότε θα έχουμε το δικό μας κομμάτι στο φόρουμ. Μέχρι τότε θα ήταν καλό να μιλάμε στα Αγγλικά ώστε να μπορούν όλοι να επικοινωνούν μαζί μας και φυσικά να τηρούμε τους κανόνες του φορουμ που μας φιλοξενεί.

Translation:

Pottsy had an idea. We will have our own Greek subtopic in civinfo for a trial period of time. I will do the moderating in that subforum in order to ensure that the rules of the forum will not be violated.
Until then we all Greeks should communicate in English and follow the rules of the forum that hosts us.

hello to every one....
i am new in here and i have to say that i read the whole topic from the beginning, just to understand what you are all people talking about...
i am about to buy a new Honda Civic Type S Vivid blue pearl,but not in the near future...i am about to wait for about 6 or 8 months more,just to order it...and not to get it...
i become a member,because i want to learn and get informed about everything,that it has to do with this car...

actually i love this car, and i can't wait the time to make it mine...
i learned a lot about this car , and its services, by reading everything you have already written here.
i will keep on posting here,till i get my own Civic 3d Type S,and after, of course....
the question i have,is about the color...is the pearl colors the same as the metallic colors, as far as the quality concerned ?or is it more sensitive at the rain,air,sun and generally at the weather phenomenons? ??
i am asking that because i am about to choose the vivid blue pearl,as i have allready said, and i don't know if my choice is quiet good or not...

I am so sorry to say this Xmitsos, but the vivid blue is no longer available.
That colour is deleted from Model Year 2008 on.
It IS a shame, wonder why they decided to do that.

Yes, if you wait til the autumn when the '09 models arrive, they might add some new fresh colours too. Atleast we can hope so!

as i already mentioned, i will wait for sure for about 6 to 8 more months till i get all the money i need to buy the car...
so it's sure for me that i will buy the '09 model...i think there will be many changes till then....not only about the colors!

Μερος για να συναντηθουμε στην Αθηνα,εχω να προτεινω τη μαρινα του Αλιμου με μεγαλο παρκιν κ καφετεριες για τα να κατσουμε κ να τα πουμε κιολας!!
Ακου προτασεις κ για αλλα μερη,και για εκτος Αθηνων.
