We are will be running this until the end of this month so if interested we advise to get in quick. Please can I ask you to PM me if you are interested. Can you give us some idea of the prices without discount.
Obviously the price will change depending on the numbers interested. |

I agree, without the auto leveller and washers, these HID kits I fear would be illegal to fit to our cars for road use, as they are of too late a manufacture (any car after 06 IIRC has to have washers and levellers, cars before that can get away with it).

Aftermarket HID kits are not technically road legal as you are replacing a halogen bulb with a gas discharge bulb. This means the gas discharge bulb cannot be E marked and is therefore not road legal. Do not be fooled by sellers claiming their kits are road legal, they aren't. However our kits produce the correct beam pattern and colour so will pass an MOT.

if i buy them off you and i get pulled over what will happen ?
is the reason they are not legal, down to the fact that we don't have levellers or washers ? |

Yep if they are not self levelling then they could fail an MOT dependent on suspension and load.
They are not road legal for a reason, manufacturers have to fit levellers and washers for a reason. What happens if involved in accident and another party claims they were dazzalled by your lights? Autobulbs are in the clear because they have told you not use them on the road. You however could be facing all sorts of charges, especially if it could be proven you knowlingly had the bulbs fitted. I might be going on a bit sorry. In this country these kits are sold as 'Off road use only' in the US it's illegal to even market them. |

In terms of being pulled over we have not had a case where this has happened in the 5 years we have been selling the kits. I would imagine you would just be asked to remove it and prove to them you have done so within a 7 day period. |

Its either £99.99 for the Pro Plus 35W or you can get the Pro max 55W for £199.99. I am soooo tempted by the Pro Max, its meant to be better than the Pro Plus according to the write ups

Considering the amount of effort put in ensuring individuals stick to the trading rules I'm suprised that something deemed as 'not for road use' but so blatently will be can be sold on this forum.
Air's a bit thin up here on the moral highground. |
