HKS Brakeline Kits - £60 Delivered

Hey people

Been offered another group buy opportunity on the HKS stainless brakeline kits from Caroline at Sumopower.

I would highly recommend uprated brakelines & fluid, they totally transform the braking and are a must on the type R as the OEM brakes are poor at best & with winter setting in you want to ensure your brakes are at there best to suit all conditions you may face.

This is a limited period only offer as HKS are raising all there prices as of 1st December so all purchases must be done before the 30th November!

The kits are the 6 line kits and usually retail at £70.50 + Delivery...they are offering them to Civinfo members at the reduced rate of £60 delivered!

All lines will be dispatched to those that have paid up on the 1st December.

They can also offer bottles of Motul RBF600 Brake fluid 500ml for £12.75 per bottle and no extra postage when brought in conjunction with the brakelines.

If your interested then call Caroline on 01797 222281 and quote your "User Name", "Davek" & "Civinfo" and they can get it sent straight out.

Any questions then feel free to ask and I'll get in touch with Caroline or you can always ring yourselves on the number above.

Grab a saving whilst its still available!

Abit more info from HKS....

HKS BRAKE LINE KIT * NEW RELEASE *

The HKS Stainless steel brake hoses are designed to overcome the issues commonly found with stock hoses . Most stock hoses are rubber which has a limited shelf life and many service manuals will designate that rubber hoses should be replaced approximately every 4 years . Rubber perishes overtime due to constant expansion and contraction through the cycle of braking . This can lead to areas becoming brittle ,cracking or punctured .Another drawback with using rubber hoses on the braking system of any vehicle is the loss of braking pressure through the expansion of the hose.

HKS Stainless steel braided hose kits allow minimal expansion under force due to their construction stainless steel braided teflon hose and give a more positive , firmer feel under heavy braking Teflon PTFE inner lining offers significant durability advantages ovder standard PTFE or nylon inner linings which is proven through independent tests to outlast many other hoses by up to 24 times longer!

The kit for the FN2 contains 6 lines

Do these come with the distribution blocks or do they just go straight onto the pipes?

I know you might not know but thought i would ask anyway

Oh I'll have me a set of these, as well as some brake fluid. What dot number is Motul RBF600 and is it recommended for road use?
While I'm at it I might as well buy some extra filters for my RSK!
Thanks Davek for the post, get Caroline on here so I can thank her too

According to Opies oils website its DOT 4

MOTUL RBF 600 Factory Line racing brake fluid

It says its great for race and rainy conditions too so its more than adequate for road use...I believe this is what other tuners recommend using when going for the upgrade.

Caroline is on here but not as a trader (sumocazza) just on here for research and stuff for her own FN2.

Hey everyone

They don't come with the blocks you just re-use your existing ones...A really smart bit of kit (from experience!) and well worth the price! I used approx 2 bottles of the RBF when we done the change on my car if that helps

Here we go with the distribution block confusion again

If you look at items 1,2,4... you have blocks of metal at the end of the hoses that the hose screws into.
These are the distribution blocks...although some people think we are reffering to the support in the middle of the front hoses.

But Costel1 had the HEL lines with no blocks fitted ???
And quite a few others have.

Unless they fix straight on the hard lines and bypass the blocks
