Silverstone / future meets CIVINFO plates

Hi everyone

Looking at sorting out some number plates for the silverstone meet in April.

They will have a Honda emblem on the left hand side, and CIVINFO lettering.

The plates are £10 but if I can get 5+ people on the list it I can get it down to £9 each.

Just add your name to the list if your interested!

Is this £10 each or a pair? I would like a set of show plates (road legal) with 3d letters and the GB logo on the left but nothing else not even the bs numbers and no text underneath.

I will try and get some pics sorted, and more details. I'm sure it's per plate but I am waiting for a reply to confirm.

I am sourcing these from eBay so can't sort out other plates Rick.

I'm only doing this for the meet, not making any money on them.

So more details and pics to follow soon hopefully!

There is some people on ebay who do the plates for around £5 each delivered and when I asked about a plate with the bs number and text missing (basically a plain plate) the robbing git wanted to charge me £5 more so needless to say his greed lost him a sale.

Are plates without the BS illegal ?

No. They are classed as show plates.

To be legal they need the British standard mark (BS) and the name and postcode of the maker of the plate

This is very very true but I have had plates 100% legal apart from the above on cars since 2001 and never been stopped or had one fail an MOT so in my opinion nothing to worry about.

Agreed. It will only ever be an issue with a VERY picky MOT tester

Has anyone ever felt like banging their head against a brick wall?? i do...
been onto the company today chasing some pics of the plates, and they have said no, they wont send pics, il have to order them if i want them, they dont understand people want to see them before ordering. AND they have now said its £9 for 1 plate, or £16 for the set... which is not what they told me before.

I think this ebayer is trying to do me over

Eddie + organisation = TERRIBLE
