I'm with you on this, but I've paid..Thinking the delivery would be immediate...Doh...
I will be asking for a refund soon...
Others not paying is holding it up a little
EDIT:
javorb said he would update the the list of those who had paid......
We are waiting for this too.
Frustration is setting in javorb...not just me.

The 'pending' next to my name is bacause I'm waiting for a reply from a PM sent to Javorb to let me know who to write the cheque to and the adddress to send it.

It's not because I am saving up or waiting for any other reason.

I have a cheque, envelope and 1st class stamp waiting and check my pms twice a day.

Yes, that was my assumption as well....I will be asking for a refund soon also!

Tip of the day: Never "Assume" or you make an "Ass" out of "U" & "Me"

im sorry but im gonna have to bow out of this as ive had a problem with my car which is costing a lot of money which has combined with another unforseen problem which has put me quite a bit into debt right now.

sorry, if my situation changes i will pay, but right now i can barely afford the diesel to get me to work.

Wtihout trying to get people backs up, i to understand the frustration, i have paid and i look forward to receiving my item, but i also understand it from javorabs point, admittedly lack of communication does not help the situation, but for all we know he may have a busy work schedule, and i for one can understand that as it can be days before i next get on line to check things.

i have also come from another forum where i was an established member and used to run group buys there as well. and the reason you get a cheaper price is you buy in bulk. i never put my own money on the line as like javorab i know that some people are slow or don't pay. and part of a group buy is that sometimes you have to be patient.

i agree with smurf79 that a deadline would be good especially if communication continues to be lax, but we should at least give the bloke a chance to speak for himself.

Ok..Hands up..Its my fault.....
I should be patient.....
Sorry but it appears the MAIN hold up is:
1. No communication from javorb ......We just need to be informed regularly
2. Non payers are holding us up? ...... I'll give them ONE WEEK from today to answer their PM ( I sent a while ago ) Then I'll delete them from the list
3. If you think this is the wrong decision..Please let me know before next Tuesday 24th June

'JAVORB'.........I keep getting PM's from frustrated buyers.
Please clarify the situation.
Thanks

If we don't have 30 buyers, I'm assuming we would lose our group discount??

Is there a way of emailing the outstanding people?? Just a thought....

robbo i wasn't blaming anyone, and i feel the same as you, i really want it now.

i must admit what i have found before is the bigger the number of people the longer it takes.

we have 20 people paid up, i should think that for Pipercross this should be an exceptable number for a group buy.

just out of interest i forgot how much we paid, and how much are they on pipercrosses website, i'm trying to work out what we are saving by waiting. or how much i will need to find to make it up the correct amount if we need to buy direct.

Basically saving a £5 wasn't it??!!! £30 + p&p @ £5.00 vs £35 + p&P @ £5??

(Give or take a few pennies...)

Perhaps hardly worth the agro, but then its only recently become available to buy hasn't it?

If there was a date, then at least we would know ...Grrrr...
As Ive said, one week, then I'll scrub off the non payers IF the list is correct...
Again Javorb, may have a different list..
He said he would update it
ONE WEEK!!

Group Buy!!!!!!!!!!

firstly i wish i never took the responsibility of this `GROUPBUY`
THE REASON THE FILTER IS NOT AVAILIBLE DIRECT IS THAT THEY HAVE NOT MANUFACTURED IT FOR GENERAL RELEASE
the reason the price is low is due to pipercross will send it out in one order.pipercross do not make the filter ,they are going to once the `GROUP` pay ,the reason i have not put updates on is due to the above reason ,there is no update until we get 30 paid as that is supposed to be the minimum order to get the GROUP PRICE.i have phoned today to try and see if they can send out a part order but peter was not availible so i am trying again later.PULLING out of the group buy does not help anyone and no you cant buy from pipercross as they dont make them yet ,instead of getting on my back ,pm everyone who has not paid!!!!!!!!!!!
if the members of this forum do not want the filter they have not paid i need to know so i can tell pipercross
p.s i have changed my email address so i can now get messages
