long haul

yes it has taught me a lesson ,not to believe everyone on forums, the ones who have caused this long delay are the non payers, hopefully we will be happy with the filters and that will make up for the delay

Yes it has caused a few problems. I think the delay in getting 30 people together was the biggest issue, the non-regular visitors can easily forget they committed to such a thing and we only have the forum tools available to try and contact them.

Really looking forward to the filters now though - I am sure they will be great!

filter

i tried my digital unit before with the standard filter the car would give a stutter on setting 4 ,with the pipercross filter on i was able to rev out on 4 but not on 5 ,so obviously with the improved airflow it is making a difference,i put the analogue unit back on and you can feel and see from the rev counter that the car is more responsive,in my opinion it does give a good gain ,just when you start accelerating you can hear the air in the filterbox,so far i am impressed

Thanks for the update...but I cant see where you have posted that the filters had been posted..hence the question..
Mine arrived this morning only to be sent back to the sorting offfice because we were out...so I wont be getting it till Monday...ironic!!
Thankyou for ALL your efforts..its been a marathon and not one I'm sure you'll want to repeat.
Perhaps a link to Pipercross for others to buy direct from is now needed.
Once again..MANY THANKS from ALL of us

Just to let you know, the filters are now through. We have additional stock available on the shelf for anybody who hasn’t ordered these on the original group buy, so these can be purchased through our website www.thepipercrossshop.co.uk to order direct. If you could post this information on the forum that would be great.
The link to order direct has already been posted.
