I'll probably leave that one for Javorb to announce. He'll probably be hearing from the distributor that he's organised the group buy with.

I don't think it'll be too long now! Can't wait to drive home and I'm really looking forward to driving to the Lake District tomorrow!!!

Hi,

I'm interested in purchasing a filter. Is it still possible to add to list?

Right, after a weekend's driving here's what I've noticed...

1) Increase in MPG, I got 51.1 Mpg driving from Bedford to Silverdale which is on the Lancashire/Cumbria border. Wasn't a particularly fast drive because of the Bank Holiday traffic, but I was moving as quickly as the traffic would allow and wasn't particularly driving with economy in mind. The drive back was quite a bit quicker, economy on that trip dropped to about 47mpg with a heavier right foot.
2) Throttle response is "different", can't say whether it's better or worse. I think the ECU might still be adjusting to the extra air. Time will tell with this, perhaps I've just got to get used to the extra air too!
3) Coasting off-throttle seems to be much smoother, the level of slowdown seems to be much less. This makes driving economically quite a bit easier.
4) Engine seems quieter and a touch smoother. I think it likes the extra air!

Ditto, i had a K&N panel filter on my C4 HDi and a K&N 57i cone filter on my Bora TDI and i noticed a difference with both, for the good i might add. Again many thanks to Damian for doing the trial. Quick question for javorb, when do you think we should start receiving our air filters?
