Rubber Mats
Hi Gaz,
I've just taken delivery of an 08 Type R GT and with all this wet weather around I have decided I need a set of rubber mats. My dealer quoted me £66 for a set with no discount offered. I've had a look at the ebay shop but could not see them listed. Do you do them and if so how much? |

Rubber Mats
Tomorrow I am picking my Civic 1.8 EX NHB. I am planning to ask the dealer for extra rubber mats because the carpet mats collect a lot of dust. Anyway If in any case refuse to give me an extra pair of it I will leave the car there
.Anyway I am sure he won't refuce because he is a friend of my father tha ![]() |

I got mine from Holdcroft Honda and they discounted them to £40 for me. If they can do it, I can't see why your dealer can't.
Mine are 07 ones but I think the price before discount was over £60 too!! |

To be honest, I've never noticed mine collecting that much dust! The AC pollen filter catches most of it.
They do look the part and they are quickly removed and a quick brushing down soon brings them up again. |

I agree the carpets do look nice and I don't doubt that they are easy to clean but the thought of people getting into it with muddy shoes does not bear thinking about.
I think I will supply all passengers with slippers and a carrier bag to put their dirty shoes in until they get out. ![]() |

I'm hopefully returning to the dealer that sold me the car on Saturday for this bloody satnav disk. I'm going to have a word with them about giving me the mats for free or at a discount for the inconvenience. If not I will get them from you. |

Don't forget that if you have the carpet mats you can not use the rubber ones over the top using the supplied bracket. if you do not use a bracket prepare to meet your maker as they foul the pedals when driving. i have the rubber mats fitted over the carpet ones but use very small bulldog clips around the edges to secure them together which works very well.

I managed to get the rubber mats over the top of the carpet ones and still use the locating pins. Your spot on about making sure the mats are secure.. Photos on post 9 of this thread: Winter mats for Type R . |
