Prices

Hi,

Just wondering what price I'd be looking at for:

1) Red ambient footwell lighting - fitted.
2) Type R key back

Also how long would it take to fit the footwell lights (I'd only be passing rather than leaving the car for the day if possible!).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Holdcraft,

Just wondering if you missed this as it had dropped down a bit!

Cheers.

Try Rick’s ambient foot well lighting, save you at least £100 and so easy to fit

Thanks to all 3 of you!!

The only thing with the footwell lights is warranty - only just picked it up and would like to keep everything standard/manufacturer fit if possible (except FRS of course).

To be fair Holdcraft isn't exactly local to me - just thought I try them as they are on here.

Gaz from Holdcrofts comes on here when work and time allow, so inevitably he may miss the odd thread.

As R-2 suggests call him. Prices he's quoted before are, the Ambient lighting kit for about £105 and it comes with full fitting instructions. The Type R keyback is around £10.50.

i understand ..... but as its only two wires that can be removed in less than 2 mins, i fitted mine .... the worst that can happen is a blown 7.5 fuse ..

Thanks - one other question, if I bought the kit but fitted it myself would the warranty still be OK?

Cheers!

If you fit the lights yourself the actual kit will come with a 12 month warranty against mis-manufacture. The warranty will not cover any labour costs to rectify any fault. Nor will it cover any faults to the kit and/or car due to mis-fitment.
