£99 for the rearview camera attachment???? What does that include? If it's camera and the loom that connects it to the sat nav, that seems very cheap, considering its IRO £600 to have it fitted at some dealers.

1.4 Exhaust Trims please.

£99 really isn't bad for the ambient lighting kit (well for what it is, it's stupid)

HH, thanks for this list. If I had seen this (and known what I know now) when I was buying the car, I could have saved hundreds of £.

PS - some posts have been recycled from here.

I put the reasons here: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/showthr...3518#post63518

We know that for some items you can fit different third party items that are cheaper than the Honda parts, but I felt that Holdcroft are trying to be helpful and that it is impolite to quote their discounted prices back at them with ebay prices for completely different parts in red underneath. I am appreciative of the offers they are making, and would like them to feel welcome so that we can all benefit from their offer.

Point taken Pottsy. If you go to www.moneysavingexpert.com which as we all know is run by the great Martin Lewis, he often mentions companies by name and offers us cheaper alternatives. I was not saying that he was in the wrong by what he was doing but merely pointing out that there ARE places that you can get similar items much cheaper.

No offence was meant by my posting and I am sure the gentleman was not offended by it either. If he was, I apologise. I am sure that there are people that will be grateful for the cheaper prices I quoted.
