Well I might be able to answer this as I had mine done yesterday!

Front pads cost £115 and rears £120.

I was having my 25,000 mile service yesterday (£350) so managed to negotiate the pads down to £95 and £100 (although not sure if I got a good deal or not).

Whilst there, had an interesting conversation with one of the servicing guys who said that if I turned off the VSA then I could extend the life of the pads further by up to 40,000. Personally I'm not going to go down that route.

Also came away with a lot of scratches after having some trim replaced (although as usual won't be able to prove it wasn't them). I think it's the norm now to come away with damage after a visit to the dealers.

thanks for the prices, but I wanted pads only, without the fitting (at least I'm assuming your prices are inclusive )

as for turning off VSA? might save on the pads but the wear on the tyres would increase surely.

I was just coming back to say that the price was including labour. I don't have my receipt in front of me but I can let you know tomorrow.

Checked the invoice and I got both front and rear pads for £65 each (and that's with a discount) so either I am being completely ripped off my by dealer or Holdcoft are offering a good deal!

thanks for the info, emmaloula, your dealer certainly knows how to charge(!).

I think Holdcroft prices are trade prices.

Most traders don't get the prices we give members on here.

Angry

Now I'm annoyed!! They've obviously seen me coming.

Is the price you've quoted the price you give everyone or just the members on here?

can I just say a big thanks to Holdcroft

I received the pads in the post yesterday, and I'm really impressed by the speed of the delivery and with the professionalism when I spoke to them on the phone.

thanks again Gareth
