Boot panel clip - can you help?

I recently fitted parking sensors to my car, and when I took the interior boot panel off, discovered that a plastic clip was bent and that explained why the panel appeared to have been 'popping out' and not fitting exactly.

Problem is that as I removed it to fit sensors, there is no chance of getting it sorted under warranty.

So can you help? The panel is boot interior driver's side, the one that supports the parcel shelf rubber 'bit' and meets the rubber boot seal.

There is a white plastic clip near the top about half way along. It looks like a big white raw plug and is attached to the plastic panel and should push into the metal body of the car.

The panel and approx position of the clip are shown by the black arrow in the pic below:

Is it possible to order a new plastic clip, and if so, how much is it?

Eco display
Your dealer's parts dept may have them in stock, if not they will order one for you. It should be fairly cheap £1-£2 (could even be only a few pence!)

They can show you exploded diagrams on their computer, so you/the dealer will be able to identify it very quickly.

Absolutely - I was hoping to get the part number so that I could call them and get one ordered.

It's a bit hard to tell. Can you see from this drawing which clip you need?

Is that the same part? I can't see where parcel shelf would clip on, for example.

I'll have a look tonight and try to work it out.

Here come the pictures (sorry about the quality, they were taken in the dark with me holding the camera and a torch!)

The first shot is a real close up of the clip - it is about 1 inch long:

This picture shows the back of the rear seat (there is a orange and yellow bungie cord behind the rear seat and the silver of the o/s boot with the rubber seal. You can see where the grey trim meets the cream trim (the cream trim runs over the roof) You can just see the white clip and the hole into which it goes.

Finally, in this photo you can see the hard plastic trim again pulled away from the boot rubber seal and also you can see the position of the clip

Hope that makes it a bit clearer!

Does anyone know where else these clips are installed. I've found one under my right hand rear seat
