Accord notchy gear change

Moving from a 2008MY Civic to a 2009MY Accord my immediate impression was how "Notchy" the gear change felt, especially changing from 1-2-3-4-3 etc
Whereas the Civic snicked silently into the next gear the Accord feels as if you are riding over an intermediate cog first.
This is more prevalent when cold but still persists to a degree when warm.
Being in the vicinity of my Honda dealer I dropped in and requested if someone could give the car a test.
This was done by their appointed "Test" driver and the results were that he felt the car felt like any other Accord.
The car passed the 1500 mile mark on the way to the dealer.
Has anyone had the same experience?

I found that the gear change between the Civic and the Accord was a lot smoother; Perhaps ask to test one of the cars on the forecourt to see if its your perception or definitely the car.

Thanks St3ve for your reply.
I assume you mean that your Accord Gear Change was better that the Civic?
In my case my Civic was far superior, being super smooth.
I will have to revert back to my double de clutching days of old for the Accord!

Yep - the civic was worse than the accord.

Mee too. The accord's gearchange is smoother and "snickier" than the Civic.
