Parrot CK3100 handsfree in 2010 ES
Hi,
I recently had a Parrot CK3100 installed in my 2010 CR-V ES with standard sound system. I am not happy with it as the volume coming out the car speakers is much too quiet at anything above sitting stationary. It can be installed in 2 ways, in mine he used the default method where the speaker output from the car radio is passed through the Parrot box. When needed the Parrot box has a relay that diverts the car speaker to its own internal amplifier which is supposed to be 10W per channel - doesn't sound like it! Option 2 is the Parrot box can output a mute command to the stereo and a low level audio feed into the cars amplifier. I am struggling to find out if the basic system in a 2010 (the stereo was revised) has suitable connections. It has an Audio in socket so maybe there is some hope. Any ideas where I could get the pin outs for a 2010 (UK) base sound system? Cheers. |
