Honda Returns to Classic Livery (Sort of) with New RA108 F1 Racer

Honda’s Formula One team has unveiled its entry for the 2008 season, the RA108. The new car abandons in part (thankfully) the “globe” livery from last season’s car, and sees the return of Honda’s classic red and white.
The RA108 does still have an eco conscious though, promoting Honda’s “earthdreams” campaign with blue and green racing strips and lettering.
New team principal Ross Brawn has brought his considerable racing acumen, not to mention vast history of success, to a Honda team that struggled mightily last season. Brawn says that this season’s car was developed with aerodynamic flexibility in mind, and claims that the RA108 should be better able to capitalize on the changing aero requirements from race to race. The team leader had better hope that he can impart at least a little of the magic that he helped to engineer for years at Ferrari as well, if Honda hopes to pull itself clear of the cellar in 2008.
