Green car of the year announced

The Toyota Yaris D-4D has beaten the likes of the BMW 320d and Honda Civic Hybrid to be named the 2008 Green Car of the Year.

Thanks to its 1.4-litre diesel engine, Toyota Yaris D-4D drivers average 62mpg, emit 119g/k of carbon dioxide drive 12,000 miles for just £808.

I think you will find for what it is and what is was made for, it excels itself.

It does not pretend to be something it's not, its a cheap reliable bullet proof Toyota. (very much like the Jazz)

Take your Honda tinted specs off

It's a £5000 car with a £10000 price tag. The Jazz is streets ahead in terms of fit, finish and construction, goes when it should, stops when it should and doesn't have a complacent unhelpful customer services organisation behind it. We've owned both this year, the Yaris is an over-rated tin box.
