Where on earth did they get that idea. Mine has now had more faults than any other new car I have ever owned. None of them major, but all irritating and indicative of poor build quality.

Then there is the missing spare wheel, the disappearance of the Honda Happiness scheme for the diesels.

Then the poor service from dealers (well, my dealer at least). After extended visits for the leaking rear window, I'm still left with badly polished (briefly, but now matt) areas of the perspex bit that were scratched during the repair, and a rattle from the boot door that is probably the screw corresponding to the cage nut found afterwards on the boot floor.

Oh, and I seem not to be the only one with a broken foglight.

It is a great car to drive, it looks good, but build quality? It's not a patch on the Renault Laguna/Espace, Citroen Xantia, Mazda 323 that I have in recent years
