I've got the Honda loom and the Connects2, and I still get the engine whine when a charger is plugged in, allthough it's much better since I've fitted a ground loop isolator.

Done my Connects 2 yesterday I thought it was quite easy except for a few bits of trim that were being stubborn. Never had the Honda loom as there was no way I paying £92 for a bit of cable and a little bit of solder does the job nice.... I was quite surprised and a little concerned that the Audio button did not work with only the connects pluged into the stereo but after I wired in the 3 cables for the satnav everything was fine, I wonder why the control for the audio screen is linked through the satnav plug Thanks to everyone for the guides I literally could not have done it without them.

Burn some WMA files to a CD and away you go. No need for an ipod at all and it tells you what youre playing!!

I'm currently using a Griffin i-trip FM transmitter for my ipod. I find it fits in the cupholder section if you slide the holders out of the way. The lead then plugs into the 12v socket just above it.
The only fault is sometimes you can catch the lead when changing gear and it's a bit tricky trying to change tracks.

I'm currently looking at buying a DICE ipod system see the attached link, they are on ebay for about Ł80.

DICE ELECTRONICS- iPod Car Integration - Hard-wired

Does anyone out there have one who can comment on this product, i would be more than grateful to hear from you

Not quite sure if it will, that's why i thought i should ask around first before spending out.

There is another lead to buy to go with it and it quotes some jargon about having to disable something first.

I have emailed them the questions and will let you all know what they come back with.

I know a good auto electrician who would fit it for me if it gets too complicated
