Stef, thanks for the 'how to'.

The IN4007S and BC548B are both available for pennies from Maplin, I think they are both equivalent and resistors are no problem to get hold of.

Whats the nature of the INT light PWM signal? I'm trying to follow the current path, am I right in thinking current flows from 12V to the INT light terminal while the POS is 'off' - which effectively dims the lighting?

Any suggestions as to how I can go about physically mounting / building the circuit board? What is the SK10?

The PWM is a Pulse Width Modulated signal.
In this case the signal is pulsated to ground, creating a dimming effect.
The other end of the LED (or bulb) is connected to the + constantly.
Sk10 is simply a connector, if you want one. Or connect (solder) directly to the board.
You could use a board with separate islands (check Maplin) then interconnect the islands.
BTW it is 1N4007 not IN4007

Thanks for the quick reply Stef.

Sorry, I got it as 1N4007... my, uh, keyboard must have misinterpreted.

So am I right in thinking current flow is from +12V to INT LGHT when POS LGHT is 'off'..? Doesn't seem like it can go anywhere else but through D10 to INT LGHT since T10 is inactive.

What would i need to do, if i wasnt worried about the slow dimming effect?
Just wanted them on on the doors, then dim on headlights.
Or is that what it does
I thought the extra parts was to get it to go off slowly..

I will post pics if anyone is interested.
Cost me around £20 without drilling holes compared to Hondas £200 option.
Bananas, i would be very interested on how to tap into the interior lighting circuit. I wouldn't realy need the flick switch part, but if easy enough to do, then what the hell, do it all!!

I shall be taking the car in for the handbrake mod in a couple of weeks.( I suppose I had better).
With the centre console off, they can fit me a rocker switch in one of the blanks, with the wires run from the cigar lighter wiring and left loose, I shall then fit the LED strips.
Now with Dealer hourly rates being so reasonable, it should only cost me, -- £200

I followed your instructions and scotchlocked them to the wires that you have in your picture (the green and light blue ones) are these correct or are they the silver striped ones as you mention in the instructions? but you don't seem to have connected to them in the picture.

You need the silver banded cables. They are very thin guage cables and quite awkward to hold still when attaching the scotch locks.

Ah.... I connected to the plain coloured wires like in the picture.
What colour scotch locks did you use? as my red ones don't seem to want to "cut" into the thin wires.
