How to remove?

I have a Tom-Tom 520 that would fit perfectly in the small compartment in front of the gear stick,
If the door was removed the suction pad of the sat nav would fix to the bottom of the compartment and the screen would be flush with the outside of the compartment.

Does any one know how to remove the small door?

Hi SHADEMASTER..! Yea that would be pretty cool.. Ive thought of that before as I had my Tom-Tom 510 located in there on my Accord and it fitted easily. However it was a much larger compartment and I was able to close it over when it wasn't in use, and it was kept out of sight. I'm going to have another look at this over the next few daz..

Rgds,
Al

Don't like to discourage you but keeping your satnav hidden is good for your side windows and such (thieves are always around) so I would prefer to keep the door as a cover, if possible

Removing the centre console is quite big job, see here.....

Info - getting in to the dash - Civinfo Wiki

If you have not got it already, I would consider fitting an Ipod/MP3 aux in solution (connects2, denison etc..) whilst all the dash is apart

I was hoping i would not have to remove the centre console,
but after looking at the pictures from the above link,
it looks like i have no choice but to remove the interior panels

Thanks every one for your help!

Once you get the center console out you'll find the cubby hole is fastened in with two screws. The top of the cubby hole is open so you'll be able to get in without removing the door, which doesn't look easy.
