[How To] Get a Nokia 6680 working with the Civic EX HFT
I know that this is not affecting many but thought I would pop up a little how to.
The Nokia 6680 seems to have a problem with the EX HFT in that when you finish a call the bluetooth connection is lost. Then phone still thinks it is connected but the HFT drops the phone I have found a little 'work round' the means to need to press 4 buttons on your phone to reconnect and it seems to work fine so here goes To speed things up assign Bluetooth to one of your soft keys I have assigned it to the up arrow Press Menu | Tools | Settings | Phone | Then Select it Then Select Standby mode, move down to Navigation key up and press select then select Bluetooth Thathas now set you up navigation key to take you straight to the Bluetooth menu to speed things up Now when the HFT drops the Bluetooth connection when you end a call just press Up | Select | Yes | Select Far from ideal but seems to work, and before people start saying Honda should sort it out! I think the problem rests firmly with Nokia |
