How to install front splitter

Tools required
flat screw driver
philips screw driver
10mm sockect & ratchet
First unscrew & unclip the wheel arch from the front bumper 2 clips 1 screw on each side.
Click the image to open in full size.
There is a clip holding the inner ach in place remove this to allow access the arch clips. Now loosen the clips holding the wheel arch trim as before on the rear. Unscrew the philips holding the bumper to the wing. remove the 2 bolts from underneath the front of the bumper along with the clips and saveClick the image to open in full size.
Remove the number plate and the screw behind it. The bumper is now free, slowly start to gently pul the bumper from 1 side and it will un clip. You will need to disconnect the fogs if you have them. Put the bumper onto a sheet . Remove the clips holding the 2 parts together
Click the image to open in full size.
The new splitter will clip back into place , start from the middlework out the way. then do in reverseto finnish to end up with this Click the image to open in full size..
You have just saved £280 , have fun

Thanks or this, I want the new splitter, I'm gonna have to wait till i get some spare cash to justify buying them and with this how to I think I'll have a pop myself.

is that a std type r front splitter or after market jobby can you give me the part no if its a after market please because it look quite driffrent to my type r
