Read your instructons, realised Honda "B" is needed. Placed order stating Honda "B" is required. Got Honda "A". Later posts here state that "A" & "B" = Hybrid "A" = Does not work.

According to GHC, spoken to 2 chaps there, and both state that Dension have now amalgmated A+B into an A unit only.

BTW, your instructions are great and saved loads of time. Just need to source a B unit now.

I have just purchased an IceLink Gateway and am wondering whether to tackle installation myself, or pay to get it done. The instructions in this thread are very clear, but I have just one question.

Having removed the dash trim, is it possible to reach up behind the head unit and fit the plug to the CD changer socket without going through the additional step of removing the head unit itself?

Any comments from those who have tackled the job would be much appreciated.

Jonesmj1,
I may be proved wring but I think that this would be very difficult as the space is tight and maybe obscured by a frame. In my experience it is the flat panel (dash top under display) that is the hardest bit to get off, secured with many tight locating clips. Even if you pay a professional inspect all trim very carefully afterwards as many parts scratch/bark easily. Experience is pretty much a must.

If you have a CTR GT (ie with satnav) - then it is the same as EX. If not, then it isn´t.
