Can you put some pictures of the mounting of the sub?

Thx!

Hi teenspirit,
The Sub was fitted by Halfords when I bought it. I imagine there is a power cable from the battery as it's quite hefty.

To be honest, I don't think that the sound is all THAT bad as it is... but that's because I'm playing bass-heavy CD's I guess!!!

There doesn't half seem to be a shed load too much treble tho, even with it turned to +3 instead of +6 (ooowch!)

But as I was used to the power amp (active speaker system) in the Accord I had, I might just have to "upgrade" to a killer sub.....

Roger, do you think there is enough room behind the dash for the alpine unit?

Sorry, this is a bit off subject..... Does anyone know how the aerial connects to the radio? I can't see a standard aerial connector on the radio and I was thinking of adding an in-line aerial booster for my Garmin Sat-Nav.

Ta,

Damian

Hate to ask the obvious question, but what has the radio aerial got to do with a sat nav device?

My garmin satnav has a crappy external antenna (GTM-12) which picks up TMC announcements, the better GTM-10 model fits inline with the car's aerial, and greatly helps with the TMC reception which is broadcast on FM frequencies.

Any idea how to get this device in line with the aerial, I can't see an obvious aerial lead going to the back of the radio.

David, Not sure what model you have, but the antenna is the small grey 3 pin plug at the bottom left hand side off the HU (As viewed from the rear)

Hope this helps
