well...
As some of may have noticed elsewhere on here, I suggested using Back to Black on the grey trims bits I've just come in from putting my actions where my mouth (fingers) are... Stunning! Too dark now to take decent pictures, and it might take a couple of coats to get it really black, but after 15 mins work, I am well happy with the results |

It does look better TT! The trim blends in with the rest of the car much better now, job's a good 'un! Look forward to your professional pics!

thank you
I put a second coat on at the weekend, which darkened it further - but then it started to rain, and now the whole car is looking a sort of muddy grey again (I'm sure it looks good underneath all the mud though |

Hi, sorry to ask and if I sound dumb, but I don't see the difference between the two pictures. Did you re-paint all your Civic or only a specific part? (sorry for the question).

there is only a subtle difference, not helped by the top picture being from my phone
The only bit I've touched is the dark(ish) grey trim around the wheels and under the doors. Whilst it doesn't show too well in the pics, as standard it's definately grey - but after 2 coats of 'back to black' it's almost the same colour as the car If we get some decent weather this weekend, and if the wife can remember what safe place she put the camera in, I'll get another shot from the same angle as the original (before any work) one |
