I guess is not a too friendly forum this one ... no one replied ...
Anyway ... the fog lights are H11 ... maybe someone will need to know this in the future (and find this info in the appropriate topic) |

hi, thanks for this mail. Do you happen to know if I can buy the loom seperate since I bought a pair of lamps but these did not have the wire loom. As it seems, the wire looms fits into a connector that is situated somewhere in the wheel arch. Personnally I see this location as a stupid design proposal since I cannot understand why one should need to dismantle half of the car's front to add a very common post sales accessory. But one can never understand why today we seem to be making things more complex
however, thanks again for your interest in replying lippu from Malta |

You would also require the indicator/light stalk and the looms and relays etc. it would probably be cheaper to buy the complete kit!!!!!

A low flying pheasant has just embedded itself in the front nearside foglamp, obviously smashing glass and bulb. Just read about how to fit front fog lights...Do I have to go thru all that dismantling of bumper just to replace it?

I would think so, had mine off twice so far, once to fit fogs and again two weeks ago to fit my Type-R grill badge, ridiculous tbh, having to drop the whole bumer just to "spring" two clips. Stupid Honda designer!

NO Dont remove the bumper, theres 2 holes under the bumper below the foglight, one is to adjust the angle the other is to remove the foglight, just insert a 10mm socket with an extension in the hole and remove the bolt , the foglight can then be removed.

Isn't this only on one side of the bumper? Reason I say this is because I fitted my kit as aftermarket and in the instructions it said to drill the holes but only on one side of the bumper..........unless I missed a bit
I wondered why I had to drill holes tbh, thought it was something daft like cooling or drainage. |

Kev,
I had a broken fog light and replaced it myself, I am not technically minded but did it in about an hour and twenty mins. I followed the guide in the wiki, took my laptop outside, and dismantled the wheel arch/trim followed by enough bumper to get my hands inside and release the bolt underneath the light which holds it in place, then it was a straight one out one in, tighten it up and replace the bumper and trims. Result! |
