Similar questions coming out here, including mine: can you keep the original arches with the new bumper and skirts, that's what I kinda got from this?

There are few pictures of this dotted around the site.

The motor on this thread is mine, so I'm more than happy to take some photos of anything not pictured and post them up if it helps.

Gary - Good write up mate.

Brilliant write up many thanks. Just started compiling parts but will take a while.
As requested please can someone post some pics of the gap.
Also will there be any gap around the arches on the rest where the for meets the rear wing please.

Dave

Lads I went to these people and they sold me some rubber strips that are kind of a double U shape. It slots on the side skirt and arches the gap to the sill of the car.

I used a sharp Stanley knife to trim it to my desired shape.

You could if you wanted get them to measure and make the exact shape of rubber strip you want/need. I'm sure if you did you'd have plenty of people willing to buy a set. Hell I'm already in for a set...!!!

Off the top of my head chaps I couldn't tell you.

I went in and they showed me a whole load of options from previous molds they had and I picked what was best for me.

If I get a chance I will take a pic of it and then if you needed you could use it in correspondence with them to source the same bit.

Like I said though they would make what you want, to your exact specifications.

If someone does opt for this please PM me and I am in.

There must be other companies around the country that do this type of thing.

the answer is yes as this guy did, looks lush when done right.you will still need the type r arches so you can cut and shut them which any good bodyshop would do.
