Thanks for the guide - it helped me remove the EGR valve on my 2007 CR-V earlier today. Clearance was a nightmare for the bottom two nuts but eventually shifted them and got the thing out - wasn't as dirty as I expected with 116k miles.
Regarding the EGR operation itself - it looks like mine has a leak and won't hold vacuum.... |

Hi,
I have slight "chugging" when the engine is sat at around 1500 RPM in higher gears, maybe 4,5 &6. Nothing major but this seems similar to your issues? What do you guys think and would i benefit from cleaining?? |

I've just done this on my 2006 ex with 52,000. I'm glad it's now done and clean but to be honest it wasn't that bad at all.
In case anyone is thinking if doing it but not very confident it is really easy. I managed to drop one of the bolts underneath, haha. Good job I have a magnet. I also forgot to connect the little hose when I refitted it, so It made the light come on. Luckily I had a OBD11 Thanks |

Ok ... got a challenge for you tomorrow Tom
Try and take the rockercover off - 4 little nuts - then pop it back on again If you can do that ... then that is part 1! |
