Insight arrives in July.

My lovely wife has an insight coming mid July as her company car. Company car tax system makes it a no brainer £23/ month against £60 for the diesel civic. I would've liked to support swidon but costs make it hard.
Regards Nic.

keep us posted how you get on with it, I've thought about a hybrid as a next car but i'm put off by such a small engine for a biggish car

TBH I haven't read a good report about it yet.

The latest I read was the Which? car one which said the 'noise intrusion' was it's biggest problem.

I think around town it's probably ideal but out of town it doesn't sound like a good choice.

Afraid I don't trust which - certainly where cars are concerned. I have noted several errors in reports and stats about various makes and models.

Noise at 100 was ok. That slippery shape keeps wind noise down, as long as you're not accelerating hard (when it sounds like a cow) it's fine.

From all the Insight reports I've read I suspect the 'noise intrusion' is probably referring to the way the CVT box insists on full revs and lets the car catch up.

The Which? reports I'm reffering to are the ones submitted by readers, not the ones posted by their 'team of experts'.

The annual car magazine that comes out is quite useful. So far, for each car I've owned, the reports in that magazine have been spot on.

Keep hearing mixed reports about it in the media yet most owner reviews rate it highly. Was having a look at the interior of one today and thought it looked pretty nice. Gotta agree on the Stormtooper comments though.
