Me too; but I wish it had folding rear seats similar to the Accord, or even better if they were like the non-hybrid Civic.

Very nice. Can't wait till our Hybrid comes. Honda should offer more options on the Hybrid, on the wheels, sat nav, parking sensors etc.

The one we test drove was black. Looks superb in black with the chrome grill and handles etc but just a hassle to keep clean. BTW did you have yours Supagarded?

Lets hope the option is available, by the time we're ready.

Ok a couple of answers.

Itsmad: The folding door mirror button is at the top next to the switch where you swap which mirror you want to move. Prior to this at the top was just the mirror swap switch in the middle. Strangely enough, the brochure doesn't show electric folding mirrors...

My dealer told me he could fit rear parking sensors, although the spoiler at the back is a decent indication if you can see it.

Didn't have it supaguarded, a very expensive clean if you ask me, and many others who's opinion I sought.

I take it the alloys are specially designed to reduce drag?

My Dealer will have a Hybrid in the showroom early May, and a demonstrator towards the end of May. I'll see what the CVT is like.

LNT --- does the hybrid come with a spare wheel, and does it have the £500 for so many years servicing. If it doesn't, how much is the servicing over three years compared to the petrol Civic ?.

Yes, it has a space saver wheel. Not sure about the servicing contract, think it's something that each dealer does off their own back. Is that Honda Happiness? Servicing interval is 12000 miles, so for me that will be every 18 months or so.

LNT. One final question (for now !). How does the filler flap open ?. I hope its not the same as the Civic !!!.
I wonder how long it will be before the Honda FCX is available ?.

The filler flap is on the left hand side of the car and is opened by pressing the same button near the bottom of the seat that you pull for the boot to open. Inside, the filler cap is attached to a piece of plastic so that you don't forget to put it back on.

Not sure how you didn't want it to open!

Re. the question about the filler flap. That was the point --- I want an opening filler flap, unlike the one on the Civic which hasn't worked properly for the first sixteen months of ownership. The dealer finally fitted the "spring clip" device this week.

Ah ok. Well in that case, all I can say is that it's fully functioning, and I am not fuel filler challenged!

But I don't like then. They make the car look to much hybrid'ish. The Prius is less obvious on that in the alloys (and much less pretty for the rest).
I wonder how much the reduced drag really matters, if you were to swap the alloys with some nice lighweight 16's or 17's. Makes the car looks even better.

I believe the only way to make hybrid's catch on with the crowd it so make them look like normal cars. With the Civic Hybrid they did it, except for the wheels. Let's see how they do this when the Euro Civic Hybrid Hatch comes around next year or the year after that.

What does it matter how Hybrid'ish it looks. The fact is you are saving a whole rake of money in mpg and road tax and insurance. That should bring a smile to your face knowing what you have paid, compared to the bloke in front or behind!!

I agree. But I wonder what our friend Mr Brown (you know the one) would do if we all went Hybrid tomorrow.
