Congestion Charge Warning

Just a warning that although the Civic Hybrid is exempt from congestion charging it is not automatic! The car has to be registered with Transport For London and it costs £10 a year.

If it is not registered and you drive in to London and dont pay the £8 congestion charge you will be hit with a £50 fine.

Talk about "if they don´t get you one way they will get you the other"..

In Stockholm the system is automatic..

Yep! It caught us out and we had to pay a £50 fine.

nice to know your saving the planet and still paying an arm and a leg to drive. this enviroment tax on cars is a complete joke.
