NEW from Touge - Managed Containers!

Hi guys,

We need to let you know what's happening in the world of Touge. You already know we now have massive premesis and stock, now it's time to introduce the containers.

Touge containers are filled at our HQ in Chiba Japan. They are then put onto a ship, then arrives at a port in the UK. Touge pays the Customs / VAT on the parts, and then ships the items to everyone who ordered, in the EU.

Touge Managed Container step by step.

You visit Touge site and add your parts to basket > Select Touge container shipping > Pay > Receive parts on your doorstep without any customs or VAT charge.

Some information about the containers.

It takes 42 days from the time it leaves Japan, to get to the UK.
If you are prepared to wait longer for your parts, then the savings will be massive.

Some pricing examples.

Fujitsubo RM01A Exhaust for EP3.

Via EMS - £804 + Customs ( £100 or so ) - so £904 to your door.
Via Touge Container - £745 shipped to your door. Saving £159!

Mugen front bumper for FN2.

Via TNT Air Freight - £1329 + Customs ( £200 or so ) - so £1529 to your door.
Via Touge Container - £996 to your door. Saving £553!

Rays CE28N Wheels in 17" x 4.

Via EMS - £2125 + Customs ( £400 or so ) - so £2635 to your door.
Via Touge Container - £2031 to your door. Saving £594!

Cusco 6 point cage for EK9

Via TNT Air Freight - £1040 + Customs ( £175 or so) - so £1215 to your door.
Via Touge Container - £635 to your door. Saving £850!!

You can now all see there are massive savings to be had, by waiting a bit longer for shipping, and using the Touge managed containers!

Please give me a shout if you guys have any questions at all, I'll be happy to help!

Kind regards,

James@Touge.

I wonder what this would mean for the Advan's; in particular RZ's - 17 x7.5 +48?
Given that I think it's 46 days (as per the site) before the container sets off from Jp - I will be upto £1,100 saved for them in 20 days

James, got your PM will sort you out the tenner (I know it's only a tenner lol) for the Spoonage during the week.. I had to cancel the card registered to my paypal, as it got swallowed by a cashpoint.. when the missus was out shopping ; I only found this out yesterday - when I came clean about the fact that I had been try ing to order bits and bobs for the last few days - but my card weren't getting authorised. So I had to ask her why my paypal transactions kept flopping - and she replies possibly 'cos the card got swallowed . Way to get caught, on the cheeky purchases

I'll be registering a new card to paypal soon as it comes through - so i'll hit you with a PM in due course. Pair for a tenner right?

Quality idea and even better about not having to pay taxes etc.

Just need the Yen to get higher and it'll be even better!

Hi James, great service for us all with the containers.
I got a two questions about that:
1. You ship one container every month?
2. I see there is a countdown on your homepage ... days (until container leaves).
If I would like to buy an item which is stated as dispatch in 7-21 days, I have to order 21 days before the countdown is down to secure it will be in the container, otherwise it will be in the next one a month later?

If you want it via the container, then we can't get it to you before easter. The container is leaving in April, and takes 42 days to get here.

If you want it faster, then air freight is the option, although a lot more costly.

See here - Mugen Front Sports Grille FRP | Tougedistribution.com | JDM Parts direct from Japan! HKS, Tomei, Endless, Power House Amuse, Project Mu and more!

£292 shipped (Then you will have to pay customs + vat on top)

We will aim to ship a container every 4-6 weeks.

Also, yes, there will be a cut off time for orders, in case the manufacturer lead times go past the container shipping time. So if it's getting a bit close, give us an email and we will let you know if it will get there in time
