Raising Compression - J's Racing

Hi James,

J's Racing has raised the compression of a FN2 to 11.7:1.
I think they used FD2 RRC pistons.

Could you find out more about this please?

They saw a good 8% power increase ( 16ps) and a 6% torque over stock compression, by raising it to 11.7 and changing to RRC oil pump.

Thanks for all your help.

Regards

It will be extremely difficult to find out. J's Racing aren't the most helpful bunch if I'm honest.

I will try though.

The "product" its for sale on their website, so they must be able to explain of what it consists of.

Thanks James

you have to live in japan as they do all the service (it's not only parts).
They will take the block of the car, do the honing of it, change to rrc pistons and rings.
You don't need j's racing to do this.

I know Nuno,

But would like to know what was changed. Just the pistons to RRC ones?? Or anything else??

The gains were good for OEM cams. So i am inteterested.

only pistons and rings. Don't think they changed to a the thinner head gasket as j's don't sell them (this would make the CR 0.2 to 0.4 higher).

Makes sense to buy it in Singapore then.

We are constantly added parts to the store, please be patient.
