Touge branded FN2 braces
Chaps,
We've been in talks with a company in Japan who make strut braces for cars. These people make J's Racing, and M&M Honda braces. And then those guys have them branded etc. Therefore we are thinking about having a Touge brand of braces.
I want to state here that these braces are NOT copies of J's Racing/M&M Honda. Their braces are made by a generic brace company, and the respective companies have them branded with their logo/coloured ends. Who would be interested ? We're undecided on colour of ends, ideas? I think this is a top idea, dependent on price. Need a good Colour mind, like tein = Green or J's racing is gold. I'm thinking purple/ turquoise/Pink nothing boring like red or blue.

Thanks chap. We know that colour is VERY important, so we have to make the right decision.

We understand people want to have engine bay colour themes, but obviously it's impossible to keep everyone happy.
We'll do some photoshops of different colours and maybe do a poll ? |

Sounds like a great idea James! I too would be interested pending price - if no one can decide on a colour you could always have a more traditional bare metal finish.

My money is on white, black or especially chrome/polished metal.... not everyone wants in your face. |

No, not the whole brace. The centre part will be polished as most are. It will just be the ends which are coloured.

Also, don't expect them to be super cheap like £50.
Made in Japan means 2 things. 1. Best quality & workmanship. 2. Not cheap like things from China. However they will be significantly cheaper than J's Racing. |

Is it the same than Alex Motorsport?
About the colour, think about your logo and try to get something that keep your brand on your buyers head (just a suggestion). Would be a front under bar? I really love the EP3 6 point front under bar from carbing PS: Who wants cheap bars could buy the Ultra Racing ones; this topic seems to be a Japanesse good quality items. |

Thanks for the input Gasss. Same as Alex Motorsports too.
We know the Ultra Racing ones are cheap, but, how about Japanese high quality ones, which are pretty cheap too ? Best of both worlds then. I'm going to do some photoshops of colours, and create a poll shortly. Last edited by James@Touge; 20th December 2010 at 19:47. |

It's to provide extra stiffness between the strut towers.

So it makes the car stiffer?
In what way though would that actually effect the handling of the car? |
