Hey slick - Good choice in car!

MR2's are nice cars also - did you own one?

well i got her back to ipswich last night and i'm really chuffed with her.

she is beautifyl and great to drive, spent 200 miles trying to get the fule economy right. am at 43 mpg average at the mo, and have been getting to grips with using the cruise control to help.

might try some fule additives to run the engine in with.

am i right in thinknig you should drive quiet nicely for the first few thousand before starting to use lots of welly. i always let the engine warm up properly first any way.

Glad you are enjoying it, but of course that is not surprise!

Have a look in the Wiki regarding running in:

Not so sure fuel additives are any help.
Do a search and see what other members think.

oh how i chuckle,

i was/still am a fairly big member of the MR2roc, and spent many a time telling new people the same thing "use the search function"

i should really listen to my own advise
