Hi from Pembrokeshire, Wales

Ello all

Stumbled upon this site a week or 2 ago and though i would say hello.

I have been an avid golf fan for a number of years

MK3 8v
MK3 16v
MK4 1.8t
MKV 2.0GT TDI
MKV GTI

And i decided i wanted a much needed change and for me there was nothing really bar 1 car. Picking her up on Friday 10am

Civic Type R GT in Milano Red, got a new dealer by me just opened and had a quick blast in the demo, SOLD

Bit anxious if im honest having lived with Golfs for a good number of years its been a stable and very good relationship but hey a change is as good as a rest

How long will it take from when you ordered your car till you get it?

Next time I'm down there at Creswell Quay at the pub, I'll give you a wave.
Good luck with the car

i ordered one the week before xmas and the dealer had 2 Type R GTs in red on the way anyway. One was a demo, the other for sale. Its a new dealer so manager said honda gave them priority on stock. Car came in 3 days after placing deposit.

I bought the shop stock one just getting some extra bits like premium carpet mats etc

Ill look out for you robbo!

well i did look at one back in sept with the closest honda dealer to me (bout 60 miles away) and they said if i ordered now beg. sept could have it end of Oct i was like OMG i may change my mind by then. So didnt bother.

Was so shocked with new dealer that i snapped up the one they had coming in. In fairness the P Ex price with new dealer is same what other one offered me back in Sept!!

Will post some pics when it comes just enjoying my few last days with the Golf.

Bit more embarassing though is last 5 cars i bought from local VW dealer, new Honda garage opended just by then DOH. Guess i will wave when im passing they have had their fair share of the moolah

Welcome to civinfo, Sporran. Like Shademaster says it is a great car to drive. I've had mine 2 months and I have no regrets.

I think ive got the only silver type-s gt around here at the mo. Plus ive got 18" wheels and silver boot spoiler trim so im quite distinctive.

there is a red type-r already in town but not a gt, so will know if i see u!
