Croeso

Should be lots of roads to test out the Civic in Wales. Can you recommend some?
What is "space ship" in Welsh 'cos that is what it is?

Have a smashing time (not lit. of course!)

Space Ship is "Llong-gofod".

The best roads tend to be up north, the A470 for example from Beddgelert to Bangor, turn right on the bridge in beddgelert (when heading northward bound) meeting the A5 this is real Top Gear country. (don't forget the Anglesey circuit where 5th gear do their track stuff!!)

Down in the wild west you have the roads around Pembrokeshire, cardigan to Fishguard to Haverfodwest to Carmarthen being one that gets a pounding from me every now and again! then Pembrey Racing circuit (for spotting the prodrive boys testing next years rallycar) and Pembrey beach (for a bit of land speed history).

The road from the Cardiff to the North is a beauty of a drive to, its long at 3-4hours and 140ish miles but if you have a clear road it is great fun. Tell you what I will do some legwork and put some of the trips up in a thread elsewhere soon as.

Thanks for the welcome.

Cheers
