Thumbs up New EX Today

Hi everyone. I took delivery of my new 2008 EX with iShift today. Royal Blue with spare wheel, front, back & sides body protection, studio pack with reversing camera. Has the 2008 Sat Nav DVD.

So far the only thing that does not work is the one check missing from the pre-delivery inspection. That is the beeping reversing sensors (standard on an EX) I can reverse up to a wall without any warning beeps at all. Is this something that has to be switched on and off?

The iShift is very smooth. Much smoother than on the Dec 2007 test car. It even manages 1st to 2nd without lurching.

No, they should beep. No switch.
At least not on my 07 car with optional reversing sensors.
Sounds like a call to the dealer.

Unless they are disabled when the dealer fitted the camera if they presume you don´t want both..

Is it an 08 plate?

The other thing that wouldn't be working is me, if I had that delivered today, I would be driving around in it all day. Welcome and good luck with the new car.

Yes it is an 08 plate. I traded in a Ford Mondeo Ghia Auto. I was fed up with driving behind 'net curtains' (The Ford heated front window has black lines every cm and really obstructs the view when out of town).

There is only 1 DVD for 2008. Perhaps Honda are using better compression.

Get those 'beeps' checked out!

You don't want to hear 'Clunk' instead!

I have yet to see 08 discs myself, but several people are reporting two different discs for different regions.

Donīt tell me we have to buy them seperatly at great cost!

What countries are covered by the disc you have, electric?

welcome to the place. I think you need to get the sensors sorted out with the dealer.

Have you posted pics, yet?
