Hello from Herts

Hi,

Not an owner yet but could soon be.

I test drove a 1.8 & 2.2 diesel last weekend. Demonstrator was an SE but I'm looking at an ES. My wife wasn't immediately bowled over by the shape but has now seen it in the dark grey colour (test drove in flat blue so not the best colour anyway) and has said that she likes that. What I'm not sure she will like is the panoramic roof so contingency is to go up to the EX to keep the features I want (auto lights, wipers, dual climate control) but I'm not that fussed about the sat-nav, I'm quite happy with an atlas.

Next sticking point is what they've offered for my Laguna. Admittedly against a dearer car but I've been quoted £1250 more and 1.8% better PCP apr for an Octavia vRS. But I don't think my wife will like the interior....

Go for the Sat Nav.

You'll never know when the route to McDonalds in Calais could come in handy.

Seriously though, you pays your money and you take your choice.

All Space Ships are great Space Ships, it's just that some have more buttons than others.

......and the best one's come in Red!

Hi Carted00,
I guess the dealer was Norton Way in Letchworth.
Quite a good dealer, but a bit stingy when it comes to deals.
Panoramic roof is nice....it was one of the features my wife liked.
NW are good at letting you try different cars, so try them all!

Just ordered my Civic

Just come back from the dealer. They upped the part exchange offer and I should pick the Civic up 28 March so not too long to wait.

Took an EX out for a test drive, stopped the car, went to start it again and it didn't want to know. Had to find someone with jump leads.

Still buying anyway.
